This policy explains how DailyNumeric (https://www.dailynumeric.com) handles information when you use our calculators. It’s written to describe what this site actually does — not a generic template — and we’ll update it if that changes.

Calculator inputs

Dates, numbers, heights, weights, and any other values you enter into a calculator are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. They are never transmitted to, logged by, or stored on our servers. Closing or reloading the page clears them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — for example, which calculators are used most, and how visitors reach the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address (which Google may truncate or otherwise process), device and browser type, pages visited, and referring site. It does not receive the specific values you enter into a calculator.

Analytics only runs after you consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit; you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for this site and reloading the page. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.

Advertising

No advertising is currently served on this site. Space is reserved in the layout for Google AdSense ads, but no ad requests are made and no advertising cookies are set until that integration is turned on — at which point this section, and the cookie banner, will reflect it.

Cookies and your choices

We store your dark/light theme preference and your cookie-banner choice in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so we don’t ask again on every visit. Beyond that, this site does not set cookies unless you consent to analytics and/or advertising via the banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for https://www.dailynumeric.com and reloading the page, which will show the banner again.

Data retention

We do not operate a server-side database of visitor information. Any analytics data described above is retained according to Google Analytics’ own retention settings, which we configure to the shortest practical period for our reporting needs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data collected about you — for example, to access, correct, or delete it, or to object to certain processing, under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws. Because this site’s own analytics/advertising data is processed by Google on our behalf, requests about that data may need to go through Google directly as well as to us; contact us and we’ll help direct your request.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page if what the site actually does changes — for example, when analytics or advertising is turned on for the first time — and update the “last updated” date above.
