No. The calculator uses each month's actual length, so a completed month might be 28, 29, 30, or 31 days depending on the calendar.

How it works

The calculator counts full completed calendar months between the date of birth and the calculation date, using each month's real length rather than a flat 30-day assumption.

Formula & methodology

Total completed months = (years × 12) + remaining months, found through calendar subtraction, with any leftover days reported separately.

Worked example

A baby born on January 10, 2026 is 8 months and 3 days old on September 13, 2026 — 8 completed months.

Important notes
